Learn more about the Australian Shepherd. Bandie was found in the road when she was 5 weeks old and has spent the last month in a foster home. She is ready for her forever home and is well on her way with learning potty training, and even how to sit for a treat! She is very smart and very sweet, and would be a wonderful addition to your home! All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested (and treated, if necessary) for heartworm disease. Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat from 10-2pm and Thursdays from 3-7pm (other times available by appointment). CARA’s adoption process and online application can be found at http://tinyurl.com/62hhpfm. Please call 919-774-9433, email adoptions@cara-nc.org, or visit www.cara-nc.org for information about this or other pets available for adoption. Thanks for choosing to adopt!
More about BandieGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
