I am Chloe, because I remind everybody of a gentle but courages little mouse. And gentle I am. I am one of seven younguns that ended up with our parents in the County Shelter. I guess they didn't want that many of us. My sister Jezebel and I came to this nice place and since we were really stinky, we had to take a bath. And suddenly we weren't all that brown anymore.

I think I will actually be quite the beautiful princess when I get bigger. And such a good Girl I am. I am not that good with my manners yet, but I am still just a tiny little girl. And you can teach me all that and make me the best dog ever.

I have started on my shots and preventatives and I will fall under CARA's Spay/Neuter Contract. If you like me (maybe a lot), you can apply for me online and pick me up any day after 8-January.

It is CARA's policy to keep any new animal entering the facility in quarantine for 10 days. During this time animals are kept in isolation to ensure their health. They can not be adopted or visited until after their release date!

If you would like to adopt Bernard, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
