The pictures really don\'t do me justice and I am ready for a bath. But if you can\'t see it just yet, I am a big, fluffy ball of Chocolate Fur. But no worries, my Mom is a little Lady and I shouldn\'t get too big. I\'ll make up with a gigantic heart I inherited from my Sweatheart of a Mom. She has been such a good Mom to my five siblings and myself, and I am trying really hard to follow in her footsteps.
Since I am still a Toddler (Just don\'t call me that! I want to be a big girl!), I need some help learning my manners. But I promise I work really hard on that. And since I am so little, you can teach me anything you want. I do a lot for the right treat!!!

I am started on my shots and preventatives (yucky stuff) and will fall under CARA\'s Spay/Neuter Contract.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
