"Do you see this thing they have on m head? They are always dressing me up because I am so fabulous! I am such a smart sweet dog. I have deep eyes I am told - someone told me they could get lost in my eyes. Then I heard a reference to Debbie Gibson? Hmmm... not sure what that means but I do have an Electric Youth about me!

Come on out and lets take a stroll down the lane together and we can talk about music, movies, or even your favorite book! I am a great listener!"

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat from 10-2pm and Thursdays from 3-7pm (other times available by appointment). Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
