I am special! Let me tell you!

Not only do I have the handsome features of possibly a Lab mixed with Sharpei or Chow, but I have the personality to match. I was walking down the street when I saw this great family and thought that they would offer me the perfect home. Sadly, they couldn't find my owners and can't keep me.

But on the contrary they have a whole lot to say about me (or rather, they couldn't think of anything bad to say about me): They say I am great with children and seem not to have met any enemies in my life. I met other dogs and seem to get along with them just fine. And I am even trying my best to learn to like car rides. (Give me a week or two and I have that down to a T!).

I am heartworm negative, started on my shots and preventatives and will be neutered.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
