German Shepherds were bred to be the perfect Police Dogs, for we are loyal, fearless & athletic defenders of those we love. We not only excelled in Police Work, but as Soldiers, Rescue Dogs, in Herding, Agility, Frisbee, Hospital Work, as Guide Dogs and any other task you asked us to do. We live to please and we give our heart with all we have to offer.

I think I may have grown up hearing yelling instead of soft spoken words of love. But with the true heart of a dog I am seeking your arms for comfort and love. With the heart of an Angel and the willingness to go through great lengths to please you, I think I would be perfect in any position that requires the loving care I have to offer. Playing with your children, sitting at your side, visiting sick and elderly in the hospital. You ask and I will happily oblige.

I am heartworm negative, started on my shots and preventatives and am spayed.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
