Lucie is a 3 year old black Husky/Shepherd mix. If you're looking for an outgoing and energetic companion, Lucie is your girl! Always ready to go and a true athlete, Lucie would do great in a home with a family who spends a lot of time running and hiking or that lives on a large piece of land where she can fulfill her need to explore. Lucie has never met a human stranger (but may be a little too enthusiastic for small children) and loves to play all day with her four-legged friends.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
