BEAGLE LOVERS SPECIAL!
A really nice Lady that has rescued Beagles for years said that I am a Lemon Beagle. I don't know why somebody would compare me to some really sour fruit. I think I am the sweetest dog on Earth and a hero. I have gone through hell and a life without love and came out the perfect snuggle dog (with just a teeny tiny bit of wiggle worm). And after having to do without love for an eternity, I am soooo ready to make up for it. Got a half a docent or more children!? Bring it on! They can love me all at once and I'll still be asking for more! And I'll be paying them back with all the wet kisses I can come up with. I come fully equipped with a howl alarm (when my -love- meter is getting kind of low. Some may say I am just fishing for attention.) only a real beagle lover can fully appreciate. I mean, think about it: I was bred to be a hunting dog and you want me to be quiet and mellow? Give me a big yard to run, a bunch of active children, a stay at home Mom that can keep my -love- meter up and maybe a Dad that likes long (I mean L-O-N-G walks. I have the energy of a Die Hard battery!) walks. I'll be as happy as I can be. And I'll pay you back a thousand times with every bit of love I can muster.
I am heartworm negative, have been neutered and am current on all my preventatives. And I am housebroken.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
