Introducing Dixie (the mom) and her baby Cleo.

The vet says mom(dixie) is about 1 year old. Vet also says she is probably a pure bred coonhound. She is not aggressive, calm, but will chase deer, etc if given the opportunity. Currently taking meds for lyme disease and heart worm positive but being treated with monthly ivermectin.

Cleo is about 4 months old ---and is female and healthy. Great with other dogs. Probably mixed with something.

Please contact me if you are interested in meeting any of these pups Karen at #919-353-2413 and email cr32492@gmail.com

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
