I am about the best all-around four-legged family member anyone could hope for! My first priority is to be with my human back scratchers. You see, I love my back scatched about as much as I love getting my belly scratched. And don't I make the perfect lap pup?! I love being close to you. I get along well with other dogs and cats and love playing with toys. I will be your companion no matter where you go; I love riding in cars, boats or golf carts! I'll do anything to make you happy! Just take me with you where ever you go. I am the perfect size. I could even go to a hospital and make all those people happy to see me! Or just quietly sit beside you on the couch and watch soap operas or football games.
I am house trained. My only preference is to not get my feet wet (I look soooo cute when I side-step puddles. See, I can even make you laugh!). I am currently in a foster home but am available by appointment for meet and greets.

I am not only house-broke, but heartworm negative, up to date on my shots, on preventatives and will be neutered.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
