This tortoiseshell beauty is Barbara. Barbara has a very old soul for a cat whose birthday was about a year ago, April 1, 2013.  Having a old soul, Barbara does her best to live her life and have no intention in harming or judging others. Being an old soul means having many past lives but now this life, she lives calmly and peacefully. She gives those who give her attention unconditional love and head butts. If Barbara was a person, she'd be the person who would always make sure you are okay and feeling good about life. She does have spunk when she gets to playing with toys, like balls with bells in them and mouse toys. She loves toys that are connected to the end of a string. If you are looking for a cat that is a nurturer but also playful, then Barbara would be the cat for you. Please come see her during our opening hours.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
