Come taste the rainbow of Skittles the gray and white Shih Tzu! Just as sweet as the name sounds, Skittles loves people. He would do anything to find himself a family that would give him unconditional love as he would give to them. This 16 pounds of fun graced us with his presence on October 5, 2012. Skittles is a very wide open little boy. He is ready to seek out adventures and have himself some fun with his new family. Skittles does very well with other dogs and kids! If you have youngin's that need would like a four-legged playmate, then Skittles is your man! Do you think you can provide this boy with some love and adventures?

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
