We are looking for a great home for this little boy that is one of our Myres Animal Hospital Rescues! This sweet baby was brought in by a good samaritan who saw he had been hit by a car. "Lucky" had a broken pelvis on both s ides and has been receiving care since August 2014 from Dr. Myres, Dr. Seals, & our Team. He is a tough lil' thing. He originally would only walk on his front legs, and within a week of care he started placing a small amount of weight on the back right also. About a month after his injury he was able to walk on 3 of his legs and stand on all 4! Then, around the 6 week mark he started walking on all 4 and now is doing wonderful! He is potty trained, good with other animals and kids, he has minimal shedding, fully vaccinated, and neutered! Lucky is a little nervous when he 1st meets you, but is your best friend once he warms up to ya! He loves to snuggle in his bed! He is currently being fostered for us through a friend of CARA so that he could enjoy more of a "home" like atmosphere. If you're interested in Lucky please give us a call at 919-775-2258!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
