Learn more about the Pomeranian.

This is Pearl, her birthday is 04/18/2003.  Her human mother of eight years developed Alzimers and had to go away, leaving Pearl in her house for three month by herself. She had severe Glaucoma and had to have one eye removed and six teeth pull ed, but came through it all like the spirited champ that she is. Her doctor said she is in very good health and recuperating with foster parents. She is a loving lap dog, female Pomeranian approximately 10, but her age is unknown. She loves walks, other dogs and is house trained. All she needs is a lap and a forever home.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
