I give you three guesses why I am named Chase............... Still not sure!? Try throwing a ball and see what happens. Try throwing anything and if you teach me how to bring it back, you'll never have to go and get it yourself again! I am a ball-game fanatic! I guess that's why almost every picture shows me with some kind of toy in my mouth. You take one away, I just find another! Just make sure you don't want the item back, because I learn fast and already bring toys back when I want you to keep playing with me. And I hope you are fit too, since I won't tire easily and can play ball for hours at the time. And when we are done playing, we can hang out on the couch and chill out a little. We can watch football together (mind if I chew on one?) and when I rested up a little, we can go try out all the things we learned by watching it. Do you call that a short-stop, if I manage to stop short of the camera ......most of the time!? I can play offense or defense as well as quarterback, but I think my favorite game is snuggle. Hidden behind the fierce look is one of the greatest love bugs on Earth. And I have great manners too. I am heartworm negative, UTD on shots and preventatives, and am neutered.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
