Hi! My name is Star. My birthdate is 2/2/15. I am a super fun-loving, playful girl. I love to play tug-of-war and I love to run. I am very good with children but I chase cats. I like other dogs but not all dogs have my same energy level. I am listed as "special needs" because I have an old injury to my back right leg. I may have been hit by a car once upon a time, we aren't really sure but my limp does not slow me down at all and the vet said I'm just fine even though I walk funny.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
