Hi there! My name is Harley and an angel saved my life. Someone I care not to mention placed me in a trashcan with a wire wrapped tightly around my neck. I don't hold a grudge though as I know most of you furless creatures would never do that to me. My angel taught me that. She called CARA after I was all healthy and they brought me in. I don't like this kennel business and keep wondering where my angel has gone. I know there must be other angels out there. Can you be my Christmas angel?

Harley is between 8 months old and 1 year and is housetrained, current on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and neutered. He is very gentle and loving. Gets along with other dogs and cats, loves children, and walks well on a leash.

If you would like to adopt Harley, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
