Get ready for a thrilling tale starring me, Jolene, how I was saved off the street. There I was running with a pack of dogs. Then all of a sudden there is a car pulling up to me and the pack. I was scared but the smell of a peanut butter granola made my tummy grumble. One thing lead to another and found myself at CARA. The nice people here helped take off all the ticks I had gathered with my days being out in the wild. They say my beauty is beyond compare, with smile is like a breath of spring, and voice is soft like summer rain. So they named me Jolene, after a Dolly Parton song. Now I'm waiting for the perfect person who will love my calm nature and give me plenty of belly rubs. But beware might take your man just because she can (that is a lyric from the song but she probably will take your man). I have returned here to CARA because I am an escape artist, so I really need a home with a fenced in yard, possibly in a less populated area, as I am pretty protective of my family. I would do best in a home with no children, and as the only fur-baby. I really love my humans with my whole heart, and would love nothing more than a quiet place to spend most of my days snuggling with them.
