My name is Dharma. I am a sweet 8 year old boy, who just went through a devastating loss. My human mom passed away, and I needed to be brought to the rescue. My world has been turned upside down, and I am trying to cope the best way I can, but I have a tough road ahead until I find a human who will help me heal. I am healthy, and 13lbs. I have lived with another cat, but I have not been exposed to dogs yet. I could possibly do great with them. I am super duper sweet, and am happiest when I am near you! Please take a chance on a cat like me, who feels hopeless right now! You can meet me at the rescue during open hours!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
