"WAIT just a minute.  Before you go thinking I'm "just another black lab," let me share with you my inner-most secrets.  I'm 99.99% house trained and I accomplished that with no help from humans. Well, that is, that I can remember.  And I'm THE most handsome, well-built pup you'll ever hope to find.  I've got MORE love to share than any pup you've ever known and I only want to make you happy.  I'm smart as a whip (whatever THAT means) and will quickly learn anything you want to teach me for half a dog biscuit.  Now, you tell me where you can find a better pup than me?  Please stop by and let me wash your face for you - of course, only if you want it washed!"

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
