Here I was, all by myself, in this big place full of giant trucks. Everybody kept walking around me and trying to chase me off. I had lost my Mom and my Home and was so scared and alone. I had gotten all dusty and it had been a while since I ate. And it hurt so bad to be kicked away, when I wouldn't run off. I didn't understand that they didn't like me. I mean, I was so sweet to them and all I was asking for was some food and some love. Why did they not like me!? A really nice man, one of the truck drivers, saved me from being kicked again or send to Animal Control. He brought me out to CARA's Shelter and now I am living with this really nice Lady they call the Cat Lady. She has a heart of gold and always rescues little kittens like me. She got me all cleaned up and gave me all the food I can ask for. And now I am a happy kitten again. It's great here and everything, but there are always little babies like me that need rescued. Some of them had it even worse than me. They really need my favorite Cat Lady to save them and make them happy again. So it would be great if I can find my own family to love. I would love to have a home I can call my own and maybe some new sibblings and friends. I promise I will be a good girl for you and I have such great manners. And don't you think I am beautiful to look at too!? I am fiv/felv negative, up to date on my shots and preventatives, have good house manners, and spayed.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
